# UBE > UBE builds fast websites on Astro and Sanity, with SEO built in from day one, > for owner run businesses in New Zealand, Australia and beyond. The sites are > built open, so people, Google and the AI that writes the answer can all read > the same facts. UBE is New Zealand owned, with management in Dunedin, New > Zealand, and the team that builds and looks after each site in the > Philippines, alongside Yoonet. UBE is one team from the first line of code to the monthly report: web design, SEO, generative SEO, and hosting and care. Sites are built on Astro, which sends almost no JavaScript to the browser, so pages load quickly and crawl cleanly, and content can be edited in Sanity. Each site is structured so that AI answer engines and assistants can read and quote the facts about a business, as well as ranking on Google. AI does the heavy lifting on the build and a person signs it off. Clients own the site and the domain, with no lock in. The people behind UBE have been building for the web since 2003. ## Core pages - [Websites](https://www.ube.ph/websites): what a UBE built website includes, the Astro and Sanity stack, ownership terms, pricing approach. - [SEO](https://www.ube.ph/seo): getting a business found on Google, including local search and Google Business Profile work, with tracking of AI answer citations alongside rankings. - [Generative SEO](https://www.ube.ph/generative-seo): building and structuring websites to be quoted by Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, with citation tracking beside classic rankings. - [FAQ](https://www.ube.ph/faq/): plain answers on cost, timelines, ownership, hosting, and AI answers, written to be quoted directly. ## Free tools - [Email signature generator](https://www.ube.ph/tools/email-signature): a free public tool for building an HTML email signature.
