Build your signature
Picked up where you left off. This is saved on this computer only.
1Pick a layout
Beside
Start here. The shape you pick decides what the rest of the form asks you for. Every layout works in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail, and Compact is the safest on a small screen.
Pick one and the preview redraws it, full size, exactly as it will send. If a layout has nowhere to put something, the form stops asking you for it.
2About you
Start with a name
A name is the only thing this really needs. Everything else is yours to choose.
3Logo and photo
Nothing added yet
A logo, a headshot, or both. Under 5 MB, PNG, JPEG or WebP. Uploaded to a public web address, and kept there permanently.
That address is permanent, because emails you have already sent point at it. Removing an image here takes it out of your signature, not off the web. Need one taken down for good? Email us.
This layout has nowhere to put a headshot, so the photo options are hidden. Anything you have uploaded is kept, and comes back when you switch to a layout that shows one.
Stops a transparent logo with dark lettering vanishing in dark mode.
4Contact details
Nothing switched on
Switch on the ways you want to be reached. Anything switched off never appears in the signature.
This layout runs one narrow column, so the rows it has no room for are hidden. Anything you have already filled in is kept, and comes back when you switch to a layout with room for it.
5Social links
None
Paste the link, or just the address. Only the ones you fill in will show.
6Appearance
Purple yam
Spacing, size, labels and colour. The layout itself is step 1.
Icons are hosted images, the same as your logo. Words need no images at all, which is the safest thing you can send.
Add a logo above and we will pull the colours out of it. Or pick your own.
That is not a six digit hex colour.
That is contrast against a white background. For how the colour holds up in a dark inbox, use the dark mode preview.
Email clients only render fonts already on the reader's computer, so this list is short on purpose. Baloo 2 will not survive the trip.
7Sign off and fine print
Nothing added
This layout has no room for fine print, so that box is hidden. Anything you have typed is kept, and comes back on a layout that shows it.
Off by default. Nothing in your signature mentions us unless you switch this on.
Live preview
ExampleThis is example content, so you can see what each layout does. Step through them with the arrows. It all clears the moment you add anything of your own.
Most mail clients lighten dark colours in dark mode and leave images alone, which is what this shows. Watch your accent colour, a transparent logo with dark lettering, and social icons in your own colour.
All yours. If the signature is doing a job but the website behind it is not, that is the part we actually do.
Clear everything and start again?
Getting it into your email
Gmail, and Outlook on the web
- Press Copy signature in the preview.
- In Gmail: Settings, then See all settings, then Signature, then Create new.
- Paste it in, then Save changes at the bottom of the page.
Apple Mail, and Outlook on the desktop
- Press Download file. You will get an HTML file.
- Open it in your browser, select all of it, and copy.
- Paste that into the signature box in your mail app's settings.
Classic Outlook on Windows squares off the round photo and the booking button, because it draws email with the Word engine. That is normal, it happens to every signature, and it is not broken.
