- How much does a website cost?

- How long does it take to build?
- Most small business sites come together in a matter of weeks rather than months. The honest answer is that it depends more on you than on us: how quickly we can agree the shape of it and get your content and photos. Once we have those, we move fast.
- Do I actually own my website?
- Yes. It is yours. We build it, host it and look after it for you, but the site and your domain belong to you, and you are never held hostage to keep them.
- What is an AI Overview, and why do you keep mentioning it?
- It is the AI written answer that now sits at the top of a lot of Google searches, above the usual links. People read it and often never scroll. That matters because the goal has shifted: it is no longer only about ranking, it is about being one of the sources that answer quotes. We build and write with that in mind, and we track which of your pages get cited.
- Will my site actually show up on Google?
- A site we build is fast, technically sound and structured so search engines can read it, which is the groundwork for showing up. - I already have a website. Can you just improve it?
- Often, yes. If the foundations are sound we can work with what you have, improve the speed and the search side, and build from there. Sometimes an old site is fighting you more than helping, and a rebuild is the cheaper path in the long run. We will tell you honestly which one you are looking at.
- Do you handle the technical side, hosting and all that?
- Yes, all of it. Domain, hosting, security, the database behind your forms, email that actually reaches the inbox, and the monitoring that catches problems early. It is the part most business owners never want to think about, so we look after it for you.
- Can my team update the site ourselves?
- If you want to, yes. We can add a simple content management system and set your people up so editing a page feels like writing a document. If you would rather we just handle changes for you, that works too. It is your call, not a default we impose.
- Am I locked into a long contract?
- We are not interested in trapping people. The aim is to do good work so you want to stay, not because you have to. The specifics of any ongoing arrangement are set out plainly in your proposal so you know exactly what you are agreeing to.
- Where are you based?
- UBE is a web studio based in our Balanga office in Bataan, Philippines, alongside Yoonet. We are New Zealand owned with management in Dunedin, but the team that builds and looks after your site is right here in Balanga. That is the whole model, and we are upfront about it: skilled people, in your time zone, who genuinely care about how your business does.
